Because the LodeRunner 2 includes a fully independent dual transmission, each rider can pedal at his or her own pace and gear without affecting the other rider. Both riders have their own shifters, which include 18 or more speeds each, so the LodeRunner 2 has the ability to move swiftly along, climb massive hills, and move great loads.

Braking is provided by two rear disc brakes, giving the LodeRunner 2 smooth and reliable stopping power, even when carrying a full load and two riders. The turning radius is much smaller than any automobile, so practically anywhere a car can go, the LodeRunner can as well. By adding a front hubmotor kit to the LodeRunner 2, it becomes a perfect small electric vehicle for running errands or commuting long distances. There is plenty of room on the frame to add a large battery pack that will allow the LodeRunner 2 to run all day at most city traffic speeds.
