    400 pound man needs trike

400 pound man no longer needs trike, now it is a 380 pound guy. The trike is still going to be built but if I can keep this up it won't have to be quite so heavy duty...

So, as with many things in life, I very well may be making it harder than it is... However, help me with resources for determining what spokes I need to get... maybe source for rims as I'm not sure if I may want new?

    400 pound man needs trike

Update. 400 pound man still needs trike. Summer got way to complicated with automotive repairs. I have 90% of everything I need. Still need machine work done for my disc brake to 3/4" keyed axles and adapter for rear sprocket set. Then the parts for the rear wheels. I have contacted 7 bike...

    400 pound man needs trike

Brad I appreciate your detailed response. What then would/ could the culprit have been on that upright delta trike? I mean i was not imagining the problem as everyone on that thing experienced it. Frame length? Tires? I might actually be able to get to look at it in the coming week. Given my...

    Seat mounting ideas

In the process of gathering a few bikes for my trike build I was given Rans Stratus. It has definitely seen better days. Needs a lot of clean up and paint, tires, and a seat. My 14 year old son wants to bring it back to life. The original seat is very expensive to purchase... so looking to bend...

    Menu issue

Not sure what is up. When I tap the menu icon about 75% of the time the current page drops size then freezes. Doesn't happen all the time but makes navigating rough. Seems though it happens more when on other parts of the site than in the forum. This is on my android device thanks

Do you have any pictures of your set up you'd be willing to share? I've found some pictures but they all show from the same angle on the single 18t freewheel side.

    400 pound man needs trike

Thanks for chiming in Brad. I'm still looking at the deltawolf size and style but am looking at a heavier duty rear axle system and although I'm afraid I'm biting off more than I am ready for I am determined for 2wd with duel disc brakes. I've been searching and studying the 2wd issue and found...
