    Self aligning bearings help needed

From an enginering point of view, self aligning bearings/pillow blocks do work fine when mounted in pairs on 1 flat surface, and the power input or output has some leeway in alignment (belt or chain). In this case, there ain't a flat surface in sight, and the diff doesn't have any leeway.

I‘m really having issues tracking down front wheels for a Streetfox

I have a set of used Azub 20" front wheels with rather new Schwalbe Marathon + and 160mm disks available. 15mm shaft.

I‘m really having issues tracking down front wheels for a Streetfox

Unfortunatly, the right combination of hubsize and 15 or 20mm shaft is rare. But if you can lace a wheel, it's not that difficult to buy affordable hubs, rims and spokes.

    Arriving Soon.

I had to say goodby to the Mondial 1938 Series M . But my new smaller Chinesium one does the job too.

Fun fact, Emiel designed the blocks so they replace the original setup.

    Gearing 101 ?

For me the options are simple. Nexus 8 for budget friendly builds, Rolhoff for the heavy duty jobs.

Can I put 700C wheels all around on my Warrior or Streetfox project?

Can't help you with US suppliers. But for us EuSSR proles, I have a few options. I used this for the new axles. Not steel tough. But for steel in small quantities, here is my go-to. And, 36 spoke hubs I hope?

Warrior and Streetfox- Has anybody weighed either of their creations?

If weight is a real concern, (like for me when building a battleBot), there are a lot of tricks to be used. But the disadvantages are many. Durability can suffer, difficulty rises, and cost skyrockets. Using other frame materials, like aluminium (AC TIG welding), Titanium (that's a real...

Warrior trike build: weight -vs- strength testing

My Bafang BBS02b middrive ain't noisy. Most noise I have comes from the Rolhoff and wind. On the other hand, I did grease the gearing and shaft to the nines. And I have currently 15K km on the counter with this unit.

Warrior trike build: weight -vs- strength testing

With a Mid Drive you can use IGH's, what is a huge benefit if you want troublefree riding. No fiddling around with rear shifters that are finickey to adjust.

Warrior trike build: weight -vs- strength testing

The ICE VTX is a unsprung extremely light racing machine, and the double idler setup is ment to get the chain under the very low seat. And yes, it's like a SR71 Blackbird. Supersonic, even standing still. But the same idler setup will clean up the chainline in the Warrior. Maybe using a...
