Help finding shaft collars ?

Hi all

So maybe a year ago [ ish ] I bought 4 shaft collars i/d 15mm m/s with grub screws , needing some more I bought 4 more only to find they were much inferior ?

The old ones on the left have a o/d of 28mm the new ones have a o/d of only 25mm not much you say but I am welding those to 3mm washers using 110 amps plus
so I need all the material I can get

Now all the ones I have been able to find are 25mm grrrrr

Any ideas where to look for the bigger ones ?

Are the split ones a bigger diameter ?

Single or double split, outside 34mm,

Not sure which are suitable for which application ?

Basically I have a jack shaft with the following parts
at the ends 2 x freewheel or fixed sprocket driving a rear wheel each [ so half the power if in drive mode.
in the centre a screw on free wheel/cassette driving the jack shaft.
To avoid and embarrassing lack of drive I think the free wheel/cassette needs pinning to the shaft.
the 2 at the ends could be either 2 grub screws [ non split collar ] or a double split collar maybe however there is less to weld to with a split collar although it may grip the shaft better ?
