Is the Deltawolf fast?

I am wondering if the Deltawolf speed trike can be as fast as say a Warrior (or a speedy 2 wheeler diy recumbent). I guess the main question is if the 2 rear wheels mounted on axels, and rotating in the 4 pillow block bearings comes with a noticable speed(rotation) penalty. Would love to build a DeltaWolf in the future - looks really cool and quite unique (and possible to hook together with a KyotoCruiser or more Deltas to make a train), but there seems no one is saying anything much about it.
I would love to hear your opinions on this - Anyone out there with a DeltaWolf 26" who would like to share?

DeltaWolf was the fastest of all trikes I have built so far. Tomahawk, the fastest 2 wheeler.

Of course, an a athletic cyclist would kick my ass on a rusty kids bike no mater what I was riding, so the real answer might be...
Any bike you ride will be as "fast" as your organic engine can make it go.

In my defense, I did leave all of my other cycling buddies in the dust on all of my bents!
